The Silly Goat Gruff Reviewed by Holly

The silly goat gruff was funny because there was a goat that was skinny and boney and hardly had fur. There was a ugly, furious troll it had warts all over and a wrinkly face. The three goats gruff were called Willy, billy and silly. I've already said about silly [silly was the one at the first sentence ] now its Willy, willy is the smallest and the youngest , willy had brown and a wee bit of white and lots of light brown fur. Billy has white fur all over. The troll had green skin and a purple face, with sharp nails.it is so awesome you should READ IT. by Holly

Raining cows

The Raining cows book was a really good book and I like the book because it was funny and I especially
the part when the cow was an  Exploding cow. It was funny I love the book,  so YEAH- go read it!!!

Fantail's quilt- reviewed by Hue, Riley, Tui, Zana & Holly

Today with Lara we read Fantail's Quilt by Gay Hay & Margaret Tolland.

It was about a Fantail (Piwaiwaka), a rat (Kiore)and a Morepork(Ruru).  It  had awesome patterns, backgrounds & illustrations.  It had no humans in it which was cool.  We learned about native birds & pests, and practised our Te Reo.  It was a beautiful book.

Harry's initials

These are Harry's initials. EXEPT there crystalised!!!  This is how he made them.

First he made is initials out of pipe cleaners. He poured borax in the hot water,then he put it in a glass 

over night.

And there you have it.

 It might not work the first time, But just keep on trying.

TRIP TO THE NETBALL

The netball was fun we watched it in nelson it was a very close game we were winning but just at the 

end they came back they tried to win but they couldn't they tried and tried. The tother team won by one point and Bailey Mes got smashed and had to go off.

THE BATTLE FOR THE BANDED RAIL!!!!

Do you know what a banded rail looks like? ... it has got one awesome white stripe on it's head where it's eyes are on. it has black and white stripes on it's body as you can see down there and brown feathers on it's wing.

Banded rail!!!! is in danger of being endangered!Their numbers are declining

Did you know I'm shy but sometimes I am not shy I am happy & playful  I live under bushes & stay away from people I nest on the ground even though I can fly fly to get away from pests + people. there are only about 20 or 40 left of me at Hoddy estuary ( which sucks ).
